Yes OSC ! -
This controversy continues to tear our community apart.
An alternative to membership with the Oklahoma Sponsoring Committee (OSC / IAF) was offered to the Archbishop as a lay faithful community network solution, providing the same services that would otherwise be done by the OSC / IAF. After two “Prayerful Petitions” to the Archbishop, his answer remained the same. As he states in his letters, we already have an active Catholic Charities, parish ministries as well as the Catholic people living in central, western and the panhandle of Oklahoma who have an official, authoritative and pastoral Community Network called The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
So there you have it !
We already are an Organized Community
And
Don’t need OSC to Organize Us!
The Archbishop does not personally support the Oklahoma Sponsoring Committee (OSC), however some of his flock do! He states our efforts at restructuring our Catholic communities, although well intentioned, are not in harmony with the programs of our Archdiocese.
Oddly we offered the same services as OSC but in a Christ-
Are they the ones causing Consternation?

“Love in truth ~ Caritas in veritate”
“is a great challenge for the church in a world that is becoming progressively and pervasively globalized. The risk for our time is that the de facto interdependence of people and nations is not matched by ethical interaction of consciences and minds that would give rise to truly human development. Only in charity, illumined by the light of reason and faith, is it possible to pursue development goals that possess a more humane and humanizing value.” [Intro:Para 9]
